SURVIVOR
Yep, it’s Thursday again. The Drake tribe came out on top again. Winning pillows and blankets, and sending the Morgan tribe back to tribal council where Lil was voted out. It was a sad time for the Morgan tribe, but since I’m rooting for Drake it was a good night! I just hope they don’t rearrange the tribes, although you know that’s whats coming.

Uh..I can’t think of a title
I am sitting here in study hall and thought I’d add a little to my blog. Packers won last night against the bears!! YAY PACKERS!! (I’m a cheesehead:)) And my dad was home to watch the game with me, although we both went to bed at halftime.
Sometimes I wonder why our friends come and go, some days you are best friends with a person and the next, they seem to have forgotten you. Or how you can go from talking to someone every day about everything, to all of a sudden never speaking a word, not even a hi? I mean friends are supposed to be forever aren’t they? But funny thing is, most of the time you go back to talking and forget about the past, it’s not one of those you hold against people. We’re all busy, so it’s just one of those things that happens. But I wish it didn’t!
So, today if you see someone you haven’t talked to in awhile, say hi and even ask them how their doing? You never know, it could be the highlight of their day!

Darn Computers
Darn Computers
I’m trying to do homework and check my e-mail, but my retarded computer is running so slow..it won’t do anything!! It’s probably cuz my dad is downloading songs, but it’s frustrating. Anyways, I really did have a reason for posting other then ranting over my slow computer..just thought I would leave you all with this thought..
What we think about is what we talk about;
What we talk about is what we do;
What we do is who we become

Friday night laughs:)
Friday night laughs:)
Friends are awesome..they are always there to make you laugh or encourage you. I have so many awesome friends, and periodically we like to get together and hang out. This usually brings out many sides of people you didn’t know existed. Such as Jon’s burping..well, I suppose we could have figured that one out.. and his great effort to tip the pizza delivery girl. and micah’s tips on how to burp..I don’t think flapping like a bird really works. Or take Adam for example, he’s always throwing in surprises. (no more needs to be said) And I don’t think anyone will forget Kelly’s “Is He Hot?” I love ya girl! And you can’t forget the couples..
But friends are great things, and the memories we make with them will last forever. Thanks guys..you all rock!

The Room Suddenly Became Quiet
The Room Suddenly Became Quiet
The room suddenly became quiet as Mr.Grass came over the loudspeaker saying he had a very important annoucement. Usually Mr.Grass’ important annoucements were about people he needed to see or something we needed to improve on, however this day was different. The tone in his voice was different, more concerned and shaky. There was something terribly wrong. As he started, he explained that one of the twin towers had been hit by a plane. Our biology class was silent. A very rare thing in my class, but that day you could have heard a pin drop. He continued telling us the events that had thus far transpired, as of about 9:00. The mood was suddenly different, everyone was quiet. Mr.Grass asked us to take a moment to pray for our nation and those who had already lost their lives. As we tried to continue throughout our normal class, everyone was a bit more solemn. In algebra 2, Mr.Harmless told us the other tower had been hit and the pentagon. By the end, both towers had collasped. I think that was probably one of the very few times my class actually got dead quiet, but I think we all realized the seriousness of this event. As the events continued to unfold, they seemed to be awful. Who would want to do this against our nation? President Bush came on tv that night, and the entire congress was silent, as probably the rest of the people watching him. God has blessed our nation, and we must continue to pray for those who lost loved ones on that day.
*Never Forget*

Survivor
Well, it’s Thursday again.My favorite night of the week..:) And although you all think I’m crazy for loving survivor, I’m going to keep you updated anyways. The two tribes this go around are Drake and Morgan. Tonight Drake came out on top-winning both the reward and immunity challenges. So Morgan went off to Tribal Council again and voted off Skinny Ryan. 2 survivors gone, 14 more to go. So far Morgan has lost every challenge. And I am rooting for the Drake tribe! 🙂 Anyways, I shall leave you all until next week..

On a Lighter note.
Most of my blog entries have been a bit serious, so I thought I try something a little funny.

Hear about the teacher who was in a car wreck?
He was grading papers on a curve.

Phil visits his doctor after weeks of not feeling well.
” I have bad news,” says the doctor, “You don’t have long to live.”
“How long have I got?” asks a distraught Phil.
“Ten” the doctor says sadly.
“Ten? Ten what? Months? Days?”
The doctor interupts, “Nine..”

Here’s one more..
David’s friends gave him a very nasty parrot. He tried to change the bird’s bad behavior by treating it kindly, even playing soft music, but it kept cursing and biting. One day, in a fit of anger, he threw the bird in the freezer. At first is squawked and banged on the door. Then after a brief silence, it begged to be freed. Feeling guilty, David opened the freezer. Shivering, the parrot said, “I’m sorry. I promise to behave.” David was wondering the reason for this sudden transformation when the parrot continued, “I gotta ask you one things: What did the chicken do?”

Random Opening Thought
Eventually, my English class is going to do this as a project, but to ease my mind from studying I decided to start one. I will try to update it and add to it as often as possible.
I received a letter from a friend today and she mentioned getting to the point where she had no hope, and it got me thinking. Why do people often seem to get so down, there seems to be no way out? I’m sure God did not plan things this way, so I started looking. Psalm 130:7 says, “O Israel, hope in the Lord; For with the Lord there is lovingkindness, and with Him is abundant redemption.” I know in my life, I think I often get to the point of thinking there is no hope because my hope is in what I think I can or can’t do, but I need to put my hope in the Lord.
I’m out..
