It’s coming..
Ok..so weird title, I know, but it fits.. we got our cheerleading shoes today, which means one step closer to d-day..or our first pep rally. I mean, I guess there are people out there who like to overcome the odds, embarrassing themselves in the process, but I don’t happen to be one of them. Personally, I like to win my battles without everyone watching and waiting to laugh. But God didn’t call us to live in secret..so I must put myself out there, even if it is to be made fun of. Plus, it’s getting exciting, and all I have is my shoes..just wait till I get my whole uniform..who knows what might happen then. I might actually like cheerleading..but then, that wouldn’t be a crime. And plus, I’ve got Eve to keep me sane..and Sara who has strict orders to knock me upside the head if I get the bobble-head cheerleader walk going on.. So cheerleading might not turn out all bad..and i’m not here for me..just to cheer on our basketball players.. so good luck to them and good luck to our soccer and volleyball players..yah Kelly!!

Cedarville Craziness
Well, I just got back from a trip to Cedarville University and it was so much fun! I love it there so much, and want to go super bad! However, the memories I made just on this trip will last forever. The people I met were so awesome..and very accomodating to us, the puzzled looks on our faces probably gave us away.:) And I got to see Rachel and Mary, and we(the girls) stayed with Elizabeth. I didn’t sleep much though..try sharing a twin bed with Eve:) And after coffee and Code Red, neither of us were much into sleeping anyways. Me and Eve seem to make memories wherever we go. We wrote all the college students notes on their whiteboards-we were super bored..and we laughed so much. I laughed till I cried and every bone in my body hurt…

If I had a Million Dollars-English Extra Credi
If I had a million dollars, I’m not sure what I would do. I think I would be in so much shock, it would be hard to think straight. First of all, I would buy our school a really nice tour bus, because I hate riding in hot, noisy buses. I would remember all those long trips to Wilds, and all the wind-blown, sweaty hair. I would also save a bunch so if and when I get married, I could adopt lots of kids from foreign countries-like Micah’s little bro Josiah. I think I would also save it, so when I got out of college I wouldn’t be in big debt, and could buy a decent house, and eventually start a clinic for poor people. Like Patch Adams:) I would also buy a nice car..not a super expensive one, but something better then mine. Man, that would be so cool to have a million dollars..but money isn’t happiness. And I must learn to be content where I am, although I can dream big!

Long Weekends
I love long weekends!! I actually get to sleep in on a weekday, not to mention catch up on some much needed stuff. Like cleaning my room, it’s a mess. And this weekend I’m going to visit a college with some friends so that should be lots of fun! Although, the one person I wanted to see isn’t even going to be there, but oh well! It’ll still be fun! And I turned in my micro paper today..yay! But anyways, Hope you all have a great LONG weekend..and I’ll see ya all on Tuesday!

The Power of Prayer
In Sunday school this morning, one of my friends’ older brother came and gave a testimony to us. And it really hit me, He was one of those headed-down-the-wrong path teens, and decided to join the Marines. Little did He know the path his life would take. Last January he was sent over to Iraq. From then until September, he was over there fighting for our freedom. And He came home safely and with an new outlook on life. It was awesome to see how our prayers paid off.

Yep, it’s Thursday again. The Drake tribe came out on top again. Winning pillows and blankets, and sending the Morgan tribe back to tribal council where Lil was voted out. It was a sad time for the Morgan tribe, but since I’m rooting for Drake it was a good night! I just hope they don’t rearrange the tribes, although you know that’s whats coming.
